My 97 crown vic starts fine sometimes (cold or warm)but not all the time. When it won't start, all it does is spin, like it's going to star, but never does, just spins. I've had it towed to my house 2 times and both times, it started as soon as tow truck left. The check engine light isn't on and everytime I take it to a shop, it starts right up for them. They tell me they can't tell me what's wrong with it, till it won't start there, at their shop. So, if it's in a mood. It just won't start. I can go out to leave for work, in the morning, and sometimes, it won't start, just spins. Sometimes, it starts in the morning and then starts right up in the evenings, when I leave work. Other times. Just spinning, doesn't matter if engine is cold, warm, or hot. I asked this same question on your website last week and you suggested I replace the Crankshaft Sensor. I had it replaced today. The car started when I left the shop, but as soon as I got home, I turned it off and it didn't start back. I just went outside to try and start it and it started 3 times in a row. The 4th time, it wouldn't start. The mechanic suggested I try and replace the Coil or ignition Module, now. Any ideas? I'm at my wits end! Thanks for your time!

You have to test it when it wont start. Test for spark and fuel pressure. I suspect no spark myself. And when you say spin, you dont mean the starter spins but the motor does nothing?
