Hello. I have a 1997 Eagle Talon esi 2.0 non turbo 420a. I bought it months ago and cars been great. The oil light was always on. I recently changed the oil and oil filter and the light is still on. Not sure if it's a oil light or oil pressure light. The other thing is the light only comes on with the first notch of the key. All the light come on and go out except that one. When I start the car it goes out and does not come back on at all and all the lights on the dash are off its only when the key is on the first click. I've heard a lot of people say it's the sensor or some bull but I checked it and everything is alright. I've been searching and can't find it or how to reset the light and get it off my dash. Some time ago (before I even owned the car) I watched a video of a guy with a 1g Talon and he showed how to get the light off. He unplugged somthing under the hood so the car wouldn't start and cranked the engine until the light went off. I forgot how he did it or what he unplugged since then and it was also a 1g and mines a 2g so easy sure if it was the same or would work for me. Any help on how to reset the light would be really appreciated. Thankyou.

See pic for reset if oil light stays on it may be pressure or a computer problem so have it checked. You can manually check oil pressure with a gauge.
