Have 1997 dodge ram 5.9L was running roufg and popping in carb. Or exsh. Was told it was IAC or TPS changed TPS and no change in running changed the IAC and made it worse and doesnt start and when it does it dies as soon as you let off gas. Help please

Start with basics. Do a compression test to verify the motor is ok.

Check fuel pressure and spark as well. Make sure the wires are on correctly before going anywhere else.
