Car problem

The key lock cylinder on my 97 playmouth voyager does not turn to star the engine, it just turn enough to turn on the swith, I need to replace it but I cant take it of. The ignition switch its fine, just the key lock its stuck! Pls help me!

It sounds like you might have a cracked cam on the end of the lock cylinder. The dealer's parts department has a repair kit for that. The cylinder will turn like normal and the dash lights will come on, but it won't go quite far enough to hit the cranking circuit.
