I have changed fuel pump and ecu all good. Drive a while back to no 3rd gear, check engine light, OBDII code is P0750 when we dixxconnect the battey for a while and recconect all good no codes. Hard breaking makes the headlights flicker and the check engine light comes on, fuel guage dances and back to square 1. Any ideas please

The shift solenoiod is on the trasnmission pan. It's best to take to a trans pro as thee may be something else wrong causine this. Also have your battery checked, it will make things go screwy like you are describing. If it's ok then make sure grounds are god as well as clean battery terminals.

Ok, so I checked my battery and all now works fine, gas gauge is reading properly and no engine lights, but now when I turn on the car the normal lights come on but when I brake hard they turn off then come back on when I have let off the brake?

Check for a bad light bulb in the rear. You ay have two elements touching and when you hit the brakes it overloadsthe system.

Ok, so all of the rear lights are working. The thing is when I brake hard on the DRL lights they dim and turn off quickly, when I have normal headlights on or high beams and brake hard the lights stay on without even a flicker. Also as we have been turning the car on and off the fuel gauge also is turning on and saying half a tank which is correct then off and the light comes on again. I am pretty sure this is a wiring problem, but where? Lol

Just because the rar light work doesn't mean the bulb is bad. PHYSICALLY take teh bulb out and look at it very closely and see if thefilaments are touchingor barely touching. If they are replce it. If you think it's a wiring problem then let a pro look at it to fix it correctly.
