Theift lights comes on and wont let car start

I have a 1997 chevrolet lumina and my car want start because my theift security lights keeys coming on and stays on. What im trying to do is disconnect it or something so I can start my car. I dont know what to do everytime I go to start it the theif lights pervents it from starting can u please tell me what I need to do to get my car started

To start the vehicle, turn the key to the run position and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes or until the light goes off. Then it will start. As far as repairs, you need to see a dealer. They are the only ones that have the proper test equipment to diagnose the problem.
