Audi A3 making grinding, ratteling noise in low gears 1st and 2nd

Hi my a3 has recently developed a grinding, ratteling noise coming from the front of the car. The noise gets louder if I have been on a long journey, it only makes this noise when im not acelerating or putting the clutch down, example when coming to a junction slowley, it dosent make the noise when the car stops. It startd only making the noise in first but it does it in second now aswell, please help

You have some bearing failing inside the box. It will have to come out to be repaired. The longer you wait the more damage may be happening.
