Blower Control Switch replacement

I need to replace the blower control switch in my climate control unit and was just looking for any help or advice specific to my truck listed above.

Hi,

Here is the procedure to remove and replace control and also how to adjust it will with installing the blower motor switch. I'm attaching illustrations below to follow also.

Heater control assembly removal

1. Remove these parts:
A. Instrument lower finish panel
B. Glove compartment door

2. Disconnect heater control cable.

3. Remove these parts:

A. Heater control knobs
B. A/C switch
C. A/C control panel

4. Remove instrument panel center lower finish panel

5. Remove heater control assembly.
Remove the 3 screws and heater control assembly, then disconnect the the connectors.

Control assembly installation

Installation is in the reverse order of remove

Heater control cables adjustment

1. Set A/C control levers in these conditions:
A. Air in let control lever fresh" position.
B. Mode control lever "face" position
C. Temperature control lever "cool" position.

2. Adjust air in let damper control cable.
Set the air inlet damper on "fresh" position, install the control cable and lock the clamp.

3. Adjust mode damper control cable.
Set the mode damper on "face" position, install the control cable and lock the clamp.

4. Adjust air mix damper control cable.
Set the air mix damper on "warm" position, install the control cable and lock the clamp.

5. Adjust water valve control cable.
Set the water valve on "warm" position, install the control cable and lock the clamp. If you need more information let us know and we will get it for you. Please let us know if it works okay.
