Battery in my immobilizer remote was dying.

Hi, battery in my immobilizer remote was dying and couldn't start the car, so pressed the little red button under the dash to de-activate the alarm. Have now got new battery for the remote but don't know how to re-activate the alarm, can you help? Cheers :)

The button does not deactivate the system, it just overides the system momentarily.
After replacement of the battery for the fob, pressing the fob buttons should work. If it does ot work, then you have a fault with the system. Check for blown fuses.
