Head/ valve job

1996 Toyota Avalon needs head gaskets, should I have valve job done? The heads aren't warped and nothing is melted. If it was a Volvo I would just slap it back together but I'm not to familiar w/Toys.

If the valves have excessive corban build up, or if they are burnt. Also check valve seals for cristalization.

Based on the mileage, it should be fine. However, as mentioned above, the valves should be checked.
