my cruise control suddenly stopped working. It was working one day and the next day it was not. what can i do?

The cruise light does not come on either. I looked for a fuse and did not find one.

Most common cause is a broken clock spring under the steering wheel. That is a wound-up ribbon cable in a plastic housing. As it continues to break, eventually the horn will stop working and the air bag light will turn on.
