Why doesn't the load leveling system work in my 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora?

I do not hear the load leveling compressor turning on and I can find where it is located in the trunk. I also can not find the where a fuse is blown for it, I check all of them in the fuse box inside the car in the drivers side and the ones inside the engine compartment.

Disconnect the height sensor located on left side of rear suspension. Connect a jumper wire between the yellow wire and ground to check for operation of the compressor and compressor relay. If it operates, the height sensor is probably at fault. The fuse is located in the power distribution fuse block below the rear seat.
