1996 Nissan Bakkie cooling system

There are bubbles coming out of the radiator when the car is idling and that finishes all the water from the radiator because it goes through the small pipe and the temperature rises

Try bleeding out the cooling system and see what happens

You can also rent a pressure tester from your auto parts store to see if your cooling system will hold pressure. Has your engine been running long with low coolant or coolant with low protection (old coolant)? You have a lot on your car and many times after that amount of time and heat especially lately form you running low on antifreeze your head gasket has probably began to leak. Check around the heads and look for any build up possibly form a coolant leak
