1)96 nissan 300zx sounds loud above 50mph when giving gas 2)smoke came from under hood when running errands & turned engine off

Check the wheel bearings for the loud noise at speed.

Check for oil leakages that has gotten to the exhaust if the smoke smells as if oil is being burnt. If the smell is sweet smelling, check for coolant leakages.
