My daughter's check engine light is on and it says that 5 out of 6 cylinders are misfiring. It has been recently tuned up, new plugs, wires, rotater and cap. Runs smooth, no apparent misfire. It won't pass deq with this reading, a friend looked at it and said he thought it was a false reading but had no idea what was causing it.

I would check the fuel system. Check fuel pressure, fuel filter, and maybe try running a fuel system cleaner. Could even trying using seafoam to decarb the intake system.

Seafood is fuel additive, crankcase additive, and/or induction cleaner. You can buy it any parts store or walmart etc. I would suggest that you google it to understand what it is and search on youtube to see how it is done. It will be a lot more helpful than for me to try and explain it. I attached a photo.
