Recent fuel map would increase MPG?

If I update the ECU would it have the recent fuel map and would it increase MPG presently makes around 18. And were could I go to have it done. Thanks

It has a 3.2L V6. I would like to try a get better fuel mpg some how. Its a great vehicle.

Thats not how it works update calibrations different from what it came with are changed to correct issues like when a tsb comes out for setting a certain code. Then they would come outwith a updated calibration to correct the code it was setting. Thats just a example.
