Honda Civic 1996 oil disapearance?

My honda civic which is new to me is wasting alot of oil? Their are no leaks from my knowladge and I dont see anything, no puddles or spots. I put in 4 quarts of oil in it when I did an oil change not even a month ago and its dry already why is it wasting alot of oil?

With the age and mileage on the vehicle, the valve seals should be worn and this would usually result in some grey smoke being emitted from the exhaust, meaning oil is being consumed in the cylinders.
