Non-cabin filter

I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX sedan, since this vehicle does not have cabin filter what can I do to reduce the mildew smell when the AC is not in use.

You can get a product to remove this smell from the system, most spare parts carry it over the counter, I am in Australia so I do not know what they call it there, here it is called clean air. Also check that the A/c drain tube is clear of any blockage.
