Our 96 GMC Sanoma has trouble starting when it is cold or wet out. This morning it was really wet and cold and of course would not start. A few people have told me it is the coil sensor. I brought it into a mechanic, how much should I expect to spend if it is the sensor?

Two hundred minimum, not counting the cost of the part. 100 bucks for the diagnostics. As far as time, I charge two hour minimum, 50 bucks an hour, minimum. Different shops charge different for labor.
