1996 Ford Thunderbird Front End

Just replaced all front end parts including struts and springs with stock parts. Now there is a heavy clunking sound under the car when hitting bumps- such as something hitting underneath. The front sits higher than it had due to the new springs and I am gussing the geometry is thrown out by the change in height and something is hitting underneath. I have not been able to see anything hitting but the noise is so bad that I am afraid to take it very far. Any suggestions on where to look? I am thinking exhaust but also looking for something I may have overlooked.

There shold be rubber snubbers on lower control arm or frame see if those are there I don't have a pic of it. Was it aligned after? See pic for tension bar tosee if all parts are there.

I have an alignment scheduled for Tuesday But the front end seems to be very close as car does not pull nor is the steering wheel off center.
Yes, The snubbers are there on the frame. All the parts are there on the torsion system.

It might be the strut crashing into the body but untilyou get it aligned then don't be to concerned about it as the alignment may take care of it or the front end guy will see something just inform him what you are hearing now.
