Engine wont start

Have a 96 Ford Thunderbird that wont start. It has no fuel pressure and no spark. Where is the best place to start to try to fix it? Was driving hit gas pedal car died. Wont start now. Has no spark or fuel pressure.

Do you hear the fuel pump come on when key at run position?

Sounds like fuel pump. Try spraying starting fluid in the throttle body. If it starts then its the fuel pump. Mine did same thing
