Hey guys my 96 ford ranger 3.0 threw this code. The truck still runs good.I tried to reset it but the code came back. Ive done some research on this and my question is can I get away with just replacing the sensor or do I have to replace the whole assembly(the part that looks like a distrubuter)?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

Hey slimmer, nice bass, pull the sensor and check the vane inside that rotates through the sensor. If the vane is undamaged, replace the sensor, but if the vane is damaged, the sensor and synchronizer will need to be replaced, and the synchronizer will need to be timed using the special tool or alternate method.
