My ranger has a broken vacuum line and I need to know where it goes. I have figured out that one line goes to the purge valve and I don't know where the other one goes. Please help.

When I turn the heater on, it is not pulling a vacuum in the vacuum line that plugs into the vacuum control motor. As a result, this prevents the vent from opening to allow air flow across the hearter core. Why am I not getting a vacuum in this line. I beleave all the controlls are working correctly.

First thing to check is do you have vac at the heater switch. If yes then the switch is not switching vac may be disconnected at switch. Check vac line comeing inside truck from firewall may be broken or kinked

Okay, Im replacing the a4ld in my LiL 4wd and. I know 1 to mod, but which one? Looks like sum pin goes on t-case to?

There is some kinda thing sticking out of t-case that needs a hose on it, but I can't find it dangling under truck. There is some kinda line commin off the motor that I figger goes to modulator.

My buddy Pete took it all out for me, and he really is good when he ain't drinkin. But E was just plain DRUNK myDad said. We been takin him to church with us us, so if you are a pryin person please pray for Pete as well. Thanks, steve

I'm including a pic, if it's where the red arrow is it's just a vent for the 4wc. Get a small piece of hose and get a vent type cap if they have one at an auto parts store. Tie it up higher than the 4wd unit. Tell your daddy to leave your truck alone when he's drunk.

There is a hose at the bottom of the trans pan that is not connected. My acceleration and shifting is off. Would this be the vacuum that is not connected

That should be the modulator valve which should have a vacuum line attached to it.
