I have a 1996 f-150 2 wheel drive 5.0L. I"ve replaced what seems like everything to do with the egr system yet can"t get rid of the check eng. Light. It always says too much egr flow. Can u give suggestion on what i"m missing?

You may want to see if it has a DPFE sensor on the vehicle. These I found on 1996 and newer 5.0s if I remember and can cause the p0402 if not replaced as the sensors are known for caking up and reading a higher than expected voltage

That is correct. Remove, clean, and replace to see if that helps.
