I was driving home one day my 96 contour just died on the road had towed home now wont restart turn over just dont start never had a problem like this before any hhelp would be grateful

So have you checked for spark or what the actual fuel pressure was?Have you checked for codes in the computer?

Have plenty fuel pressure now car wont crank just bought a new battery theres a loud clank comming from the starter

You may mant to voltage drop test the neg and pos cables. Attach a volt meeter pos cable to bat pos and the other to the fat wire on the starter and try cranking the car. Do the same on the neg bat term and the engine block let me knoe what voltage you have with booth of those test.
