I have a 1996 Ford Contour 2.0 16 valve Vtec dual overhead cam engine. Radiator hose broke, car overheated. I pulled the head and had it milled and pressure tested. Put everything back together. Started right up but as it got warm water vapor steaming out the valve cover breather tube. I would think it is a cracked head but I had it tested when it was off the car getting milled.

Is there anything else that this could be? Looking for ideas.

Thanks

Jim

The the cylinder head was either incorrectly installed or the head gasket or the cylinder head is cracked. If the head wasnot disassembled then it wasn't tesed very well, have it retested. Or replace it.
