Can only move altenator belt 6-10 inches, flywheel moves with it - flywheel will spin all the way around and not move belts - what may be broke?

How are you turning the flywheel? You're referring to the big metal plate between the engine and transmission, right? Not the vibration damper on the front of the engine?

I would remove the belt, then see which pulleys can be turned by hand. The alternator, power steering, AC compressor, idler, and tensioner pulleys should spin very freely. The vibration damper / crankshaft pulley at the bottom should not turn at all unless you're strong enough to turn the whole crankshaft!
