Now we getting somewhere, now check and test idle air control motor, EGR valve and TPS sensor-that's if it won't idle-Note: the crank and sustain puzzles me.

Get back with results on this so that we continue

When I crank the jeep its not a smooth start also when the jeep starts to warm up it sounds very choppy and if I dont push the gas it will go dead also you can smell high volumes of gas in the air around the jeep. Ive checked the injectors and they are getting gas

Could be one of the following:

1. Fuel pressure not within specs. Can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.

I have been given advice to take out the entire distrebetur and take out the number one spark plug and place a screwdriver in the number one piston and bump it until it comes to the top then place my destrebuter back in when its turnt towards the one. What advice can you give me to ensure that I dont mess somthing up because I am truly not a mechanic and can not afford the money to get it diagnossed thrue the jeep crysler place ive already called and checked into it I can only come up with the money to get it fixed.
