car runs good cold and runs poor when it gets hot

Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Not only check for correct pressure, check that the pressure doesn't drop like a rock with everything off. Any applicable trouble codes? At the least you would need an obd2 code reader to check codes. How long since a tune-up?

To add, check the coolant temp sensor, also.
