1996 Chevrolet Corsa brakes

A mechanic changed my brakes and now says he can't finish the job because he doesn't have the sensor to bleed the brakes. He wants to replace the master cylinder with one that does not have the electronic sensor on it. Is this safe? Will my brakes work?

I don't know what your mechanic is talking about in 1996 the only thing they had was a wheel sensor for the ABS brakes, there is no electronic master cylinder they are all manual.

Can he remove the wheel sensor and the brakes work safely
