Have a 96 cavalier 2.2. Replaced fuel injector but I believe a piece of the o ring fell through the cylinder head into the block. Tried starting but was locked in place. Took the head off but couldn't see it. Rotated engine by hand fine. Put it all back together and it locks up. Can a small piece of rubber lock up an engine?

Its hydro locked. Took the spark plugs out and now it spins. What do I do to ensure it wont stay hydro locked? Let it dry out or what? Thanks
