I have a 1996 Chevy S10 blazer. With a 4.3 vortec, Vin W, (SCPI) Fuel system, 4L60E auto trans, 4WD.I would like to get rid of the problematic (SCPI) type engine and go with a more fuel efficient system.I would like to know what is involved and is it possible to install a newer 4.3 vortec engine in this Blazer. Say a 2003 or newer LU3 or LG3 with the (MPFI) fuel system. Do I have to change the computer or anything else to accomplish this?

Engine harness, complete, computer and all sensors,

it is a huge project. I would look at making your more efficient.
