The oil filter I purchased to replace the one currently in the car is a Ryco R2597P but it is not the same as the oil filter in the car. The oil filter in the car has the part number 114421709514 which is the same as a Ryco R2583P. Which one is the right part?

Hello,

Depending on the manufacturing date that model of vehicle uses 2 different oil filters.
To find out which part number is for your car, you will have to call the dealer with the VIN.
They will be able to tell you which part number is the correct one.

Since you already have the filter out of the car just use that reference number to get the replacement filter. You can also compare the old filter with the replacement one to verify.
