Hi I have a 1995 VW Passat GLS FWD 2.0 last thursday morning I went out and started my car went back in side to let it warm up when I went back out it was not running thout the timming belt broke or fuel pump went out they are fine I have power at the coil but no power at the distributor no spark wondering if I need a new distributor? Or if some sensors are not working.

Does your coil wire spark if held close to engine block/metal?

Have not tryed that was hot at the coil and 2 out of 3 of the wires was hot on the coil, Crank shaft sencer maybe?

I mean do you have spark from coil going into distributor cap? You say no spark, do you mean from plug wires?

It's hot at the cap we have a sparkplug tester there is no spark

Put in a crankshaft senser still does not work Distributor? Maybe?

So you have spark going into cap but no spark out of cap to plugs? Then maybe cap or rotor is bad.

I put a nother Distributor in and crankshaft sencer and still not spark car will not start what you think CFM anything wood be grate
