My parking gear is not shifting?

Hello my Toyota starlet has a problem I recently changed the fuses of my car and now my parking gear is not shifting is it from a fuse im only able to change the gear from park manually

Hello,

It sounds like the issue might be with the shift interlock solenoid.
That solenoid releases the shifter from park when you press the brake pedal. When the solenoid faults it will not be triggered by the brake and you have to manually release it to shift out of park.

The shift interlock solenoid it located under the shift lever. In order to access it you will have to remove the trims around the shifter.
Unplug the harness and check the resistance of the solenoid, it should be 12.5-16.5 ohms for a correctly functioning solenoid.
