How do I improve the power of the engine. As the road here where I live is of more stiff( hilly area) it is difficult to use my car unless I gain a proper momentum/ pick up, which is not possible sometime. Is it because the car is very old? One of my friend said that the turbo engines are less powerful than the non turbo, but I am not sure what type of engine does my car have, what advantage or disadvantage does turbo engine have over the non turbo and is turbo engines convert-able to non turbo? .

Turbo engines are more powerful than anon turbo engine by far. Check into seeing if there is a chip for the computer to giv eyour engine more power. However your fuel mileage will drop when doing this. They range from $300-500 and is probably the cheapest way to get more power for your truck. Look in one of the truck books an dyou'll see them advertised then you can check into it. But if yo have a 4 cyl or 6 cyl your options will be limited and they aren't the most powerful engines.
