Sir, for the 1995 SAAB 9000 if the "check engine" light up after awhile from start the engine system will not make the light goes off even the engine's condition become complete(everything is in order), as I watch for my this model car. Before this car I drove 1996 - 900 the CEL will go off if everything come Ok. Is this truth?

The light only comes on when there is a problem that the computer sees. Scan for codes.

Yes, I know that. In my case, if it was in lean/rich condition for just a short period that make the CEL went up after that become in normal condition, compare to 1996 - 900 the CEL would go off after a duration of time in driving. But for my recent car, 1995 - 9000 it would not do that, it stills light on, until stopping the engine and restart the CEL will not come up, but the fault code still hide in the system known by twisting the ignition switch to count blinking of CEL, roughly. Checking by Tech2 also shows the problem detail. I observed this many times of driving then I suppose that 95 - 9000 will not put off the CEL even only a simple problem occurs and the problem become improved, next start the dash panel will be cleared. Is this a trionic 5 format? Thank you.
