1995 olds cutlas supreme. Service engine light comes on when I let of gas at 50 mph+. 3.1 engine

You need a scan to check for trouble codes and proceed from there.

Something is wrong within the engine management system and the error has been detected by the engine computer which turns on the SES light ss a warning.
