No CAB heat

My 1995 Nissan Maxima, 160000 + miles, has a problem with running out of coolant. I have replaced the coolant 1 gal, and now its gone again. I do not see any leaks on the ground. The heater core blows cold air but no hot. Help please!

If you lose coolant and you can't see any leaks I would have the compression check done on the cooling system. If the coolant compression check pressure goes down you may have an internal leak. Check the oil to see if any coolant has gone into the oil. You can tell if there is a white film on the dipstick.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
