1995 Mitsubishi RVR rattling and blowing blue smoke intermitily

Hi guys I would really appreciate your help I have a 1995 Mitsubishi rover sports and all of sudden driving down the highway yesterday it made a rattle in the top of the engine and blue smoke plumed out then stopped when I decelerated then done it again 5 minutes later then pulled up turned off checked it drove home and planted it all the way and it didn't happen again got me stumped and help would be great

May be a head gasket check to see if you lost oil or not.

Havent lost oil temp is fine just took it out the highway and slammed the hell out of it doing 120kms and it didnt do at all ran fine but noticed a bit of oil is on the belts and sorry its a mistsubishi rvr sports not rover as stated

If you saw oil on belt it may be the a/c compressor then maybe it blew a seal they work until temp goes down around 32F when you have defrost on we don'thave that model in U.S. But have a local pro look at it.
