We've checked from the top of the tank to the outside of the fuel filter the pressure reads 10 lbs. On the old one and the new one. What should it read?

Hello,

Ok, since it is fuel injected it should be at least 40 - 60 psi. Now you said you check to the outside of fuel filter, does that mean you tested by hooking to the fuel filter? If so try hooking up to line without fuel filter. Also dump fuel from tank side filter if black replace filter.

You also need to check voltage at tank.

Hi, obxautomedic, I put a fuel test "T" and new filters, and pressure is still only 10 lbs. Contacted parts place and they said to get second opinion before returning pump. It is susposed to be 40 psi on the outside of the filter. So i'm at a loss on this. Thanks for ur quick reply.
