My truck starts but dies immediately. I replaced the fuel filter and made sure there is gas in it. I hooked an OBD II up to it and no codes come up. I can hear the fuel pump working. Any ideas?

i left work for lunch put gas in my truck went back to work. Came out of work approx 30 mins later and truck starts but dies immediately. I replaced fuel filter and that did not help. I hooked an OBD II to the vehicle and no codes came back.

Are you able to keep it running by hitting the throttle? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

No I will not stay running when I hit throttle. No I hasve not checked the pressure, i'm not sure how to do that. Is it possible the sending unit is not working properly? I can hear the fuel pump running

IT must be getting spark. Therefore, we need to check fuel pressure. It isn't hard, but you will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend them to you. When you get it, go to our homepage under the DIY section for detailed directions plus a video to show you how to check it. Let me know what you find.
