I have a 1995 ford windstar I have rebuilt the transmission in it but early in the morning or the first drive of the day I willl take off it will drive fine when I come to a stop the van will jerk really hard one time then no more through out the day

Sounds like a harsh downshift.

It could be valve body related. Did you use any additive for the valve body?
