1995 Thunderbird wont start after replacing ignition

My friend jaime broke her ignition switch while she was at the car wash went and got her another one but the car is not turning over its not the battery any ideas or help would be greatly.

Is it cranking over and will not start or just won't crank over at all/nothing when key is turn to cranking position?

**No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, clutch switch/park and neutral switch/transmission position switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

I just replaced the ignition in my Thunderbird and when I was replacing it, the passive anti-theft device key fell out and it sounds like what you are describing. If you have this device, may want to check it.
