Where is the fuel pump relay on a ford thunderbird SC 1995? I have the new relay (gray looking), but They store that I purchased it from did not know? I found the reset fuel pump switch at the rear inside the trunk.

I KNOW LITTLE ABOUT YOUR CAR

I DO HAVE ACCESS TO AN ON-LINE REPAIR MANUAL (SPIFF, FOR ANSWERING AT 2CARPROS)

I SEARCHED FOR A DIAGRAM. LOST, COULD NOT FIND ONE

I FOUND SEVERAL MENTIONS.

ONE WAS "INTEGRATED WITHIN INTEGRATED RELAY CONTROL MODULE".I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THAT MEANS. I JUST DO NOT KNOW!

IT ALSO SAYS, IN ANOTHER PLACE, "IRCM" IS LOCATED, "RIGHT SIDE OF RADIATOR".

I'M JUST NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE MANUAL.I'M A JEEP CJ KINDA GUY, JUST TRYIN' TO HELP YOU!

LET ME KNOW WHAT THAT DID FOR YOU!

The CCRM (constant control relay module) is located on the fende well behind the right headlamp.

It should look like this.

I knew it sooner or later someone is coming with the CCRM just a matter of time. Before I started to answer I was thinking CCRM- the multifunction relay that powers the fuel pump-lol Good Job Wrench-Game Over Gents-

To Mr Wrenchtech:
You are absolutely right about the CCRM, I Replaced it two years ago, although the fuel pump relay the AutoZone guys sold me looks like a simple 1"x2" black retangular one.
When you look at the Chilton´s chassis electrical blue print it does show after the Nertia shut off pump switch, which is visible located in the trunk. I have not replaced the fuel pump yet, even though the thunderbird started failing to start, then it will make noise like the fuel pump was kicking fuel, but then the last time it never made a sound and refused to start. New air filter, new plugs, new fuel filter. I was told to replace this fuel relay pump first before going for the fuel pump. Enclosed is the relay they sold me and cannot find where it goes.

The first thing I would do is not listen to AutoZone. They are trained to sell parts only and they are not very good at that as you have found with the fuel pump relay. The relay is in the CCRM. I wouldn't change anything until I have troubleshooted the circuit and determined where power is being lost if anywhere.

I´m starting to believe what you said about the AutoZone guys, I think I recognized one of them working at MacDonalds previously. I will return this part now and follow with your advice, I will keep you posted it. Thanks a lot.
