When I was driving to Des Moines my truck dies on my. It took forever to get it started back up again and when it only does 55 mph. When we went to repair it we noticed that the exaust manifold were glowing red hot. When we tried to do the timing we couldn't get it right. I've noticed also it only dies when the engine is hot

Check the catalytic converter. It sounds plugged.

Then you are dumping fuel. This could be the result of no converters. The O2 sensors may be telling the computer to make the fuel richer. OR, you could have a bad pressure regulator, a sticking injector, or a major misfire allowing fuel to enter the exhaust manifold.

We've finally got it timed so it would run right. It runs fine for about 15 mins and then when the engine gets hot it dies. It's still only the right manifold glowing hot.
