1995 Ford Escort Wagon Idling problem

1995 Ford Escort wagon, idles rough, also cannot pull the plug wires loose from the plugs to replace the plugs.

Take pliers and turn the rubber boot on the wire and pull at the same time. It will come off. However, if they are that tight, I recommend replacing them because they will most likely break.
