Ford E-Series Van Diesel Problem

I had the oil changed in my e350 7.3 power stroke diesel about a week ago. I just checked the stick, have not run it in two days, and the oil is 3-4 inches above the full line covering the do not overfill warning. What harm has this done or will do?

Check for any leaks under the vehicle. Sometimes when they put a new filter on they don't put it tight enough. When replacing the oil filter a little oil is put on the rubber seal to help it seal right
