1995 Dodge Ram 1500

I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 with a 4.9. The engine is burning alot of oil and blows white smoke under hard excelleration. I have changed the oil pump and pan seal already. There are no external leaks that I could find. What could be causing the truck to burn the oil?

With that kind of mileage, it could be many different things. Check the valve covers for sludge and plugged up returns and make sure the PCV system is working properly but it may be just a worn out engine.
