How do I know its' my heater core. I have a 95 chevy tahoe; fluid is leaking not from the core but from a hole at the firewall next to the hoses coming into the core. There are two hoses and one other with a rubber hose that bends at a 90 degree angle. After driving the truck and parking it, fluid leaks from this other (3rd) tube. Is it the heater core or something else?

Bingo heater core coming out of Evap/core assembly drain tube. Sounds like the drain for the heater core if it were to leak the third hose that comes off the fire wall has a 90 degree elbow facing down not connected to anything if so its the drain for the heater core. Can you smell coolant inside? Sounds like a bad heater core. If that were one of the hoses just not connected it would leak all the time.
